Bentley Unveils the First-Ever Batur Convertible by Mulliner
Bentley Mulliner has introduced its first Batur Convertible, a one-off masterpiece that embodies the brand’s peak in bespoke design, luxury, and performance. With its shimmering Opalite exterior, bold Beluga gloss racing stripe, and Mandarin pinstripe accents, the car channels both classic motorsport heritage and modern grand touring elegance.Under the hood, the Batur Convertible houses a 730 hp twin-turbo W12 engine, making it the most powerful open-top grand tourer Bentley has ever built. Its striking grille and wheels, adorned in Beluga and Mandarin tones, reinforce its commanding presence.
Luxury Inside and Out
The interior follows a "One plus One" layout, creating a deliberate visual contrast between driver and passenger spaces. On the driver’s side, Beluga hide is paired with Mandarin and Linen highlights, while the passenger side features Linen leather with Mandarin stitching. This unique split continues through the luggage compartment and extends even to the bespoke matching key cases.Titanium elements on the gear paddles, steering wheel accents, and air vent controls highlight Mulliner’s obsessive attention to detail and artisanal craftsmanship.
A Coachbuilt Collector’s Dream
This convertible marks the third creation in Mulliner’s exclusive Coachbuilt series, following the Bacalar and Batur coupé. Each car is co-designed with clients using Bentley’s custom visualiser tool, allowing owners to craft their own ultra-personalized automotive statement.Enthusiasts will have the chance to admire the Batur Convertible’s design and power during Monterey Car Week, where Bentley will showcase its latest engineering achievements.
