Bugatti Launches Programme Solitaire with the Stunning “Brouillard”
Bugatti has introduced its most exclusive personalization initiative to date—Programme Solitaire—with the reveal of its first commission, the Brouillard. This one-of-one creation takes inspiration from Ettore Bugatti’s favorite horse, combining advanced engineering with a sculptural design language rooted in equine elegance.Powered by a 1,600 PS W16 engine, the Brouillard is based on Bugatti’s latest coupé platform but reimagined from the ground up with bespoke craftsmanship. Its flowing bodywork echoes the muscular definition of a thoroughbred, while a cathedral-like glass roof floods the cabin with light.
Design That Blends Heritage and Innovation
Inside, the Brouillard’s tartan fabric upholstery, green-tinted carbon fiber panels, and an extraordinary gear shifter—featuring a hand-sculpted miniature of Ettore Bugatti’s horse—pay homage to the Bugatti family’s artistry. This nod to heritage spans Carlo Bugatti’s furniture design and Rembrandt Bugatti’s celebrated bronze sculptures. The Brouillard is more than a performance machine—it’s an art piece on wheels, designed to be as visually captivating as it is mechanically advanced.
An Elite Standard for Bespoke Creations
Under Programme Solitaire, Bugatti will produce no more than two commissions per year, each tailored to its owner’s vision and executed with unparalleled detail. While based on existing Bugatti platforms, these cars will feature completely reimagined exteriors, interiors, and materials, ensuring absolute individuality. With the Brouillard, Bugatti signals that the future of hypercar luxury lies in singular, art-driven design—crafted for collectors who demand nothing less than perfection.
